Chief Paschal Mbawuike Backs Stronger Nigeria – U.S. Security Cooperation

Nigerians in the diaspora have commended the conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing the process as peaceful, transparent, and reflective of democratic values within the ruling party.

Speaking on behalf of a coalition of diaspora supporters, in Abuja .Chief Paschal Mbawuike praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as bold economic reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s economy for sustainable growth and national development.

According to Mbawuike, the ongoing reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda are gradually restoring investor confidence, strengthening critical sectors of the economy, and laying the foundation for long term prosperity despite prevailing economic challenges.

He noted that Nigerians living abroad are closely monitoring developments at home and remain optimistic that the Tinubu administration’s policies will ultimately yield positive outcomes for citizens across the country.

Chief Mbawuike also expressed support for stronger international security collaboration involving Nigeria and the United States, particularly in combating terrorism, cybercrime, illegal trafficking, and transnational organized crime.

He specifically lauded ongoing global security initiatives associated with United States President, Donald Trump, emphasizing the importance of intelligence sharing and strategic partnerships in addressing emerging security threats affecting Africa and the wider international community.

The diaspora group further urged political stakeholders to sustain peace, internal democracy, and issue based campaigns as preparations intensify for the 2027 elections.

Mbawuike called on Nigerians, irrespective of political affiliation, to support efforts aimed at promoting national unity, economic stability, and improved security across the federation.

He reaffirmed the commitment of Nigerians in the diaspora to contributing meaningfully to national development through investments, advocacy, and international partnerships that will enhance Nigeria’s global standing.
