In a release issued by The Top10 Magazine, the Publisher, Mr Tony Iji, stated that, “In line with our tradition of celebrating 10 leading lights in every endeavour, this edition of the magazine which was put together to mark the end of President Buahri’s eight years administration is aimed at celebrating top 10 Public officials who have distinguished themselves with proven track record of accomplishments, credibility and successes recorded by the administration of President Buhari as the elected President of Nigeria between 2015 and 2023.”

He explained that, “in spite of many challenges faced by the administration, it was able to record milestone achievements in different areas, and credit must be given to those public officials under his administration who were instrumental to the successes recorded by Buhari in the eight years of his stewardship.”

Mr. Iji stated that, “as usual, selecting the top 10 out of many short listed appointees was not an easy task but our editorial board was able to devise a selection criterion based on those who played key roles in resource mobilization, utilization and new capacity building in the economy to arrive at our final top 10 selected for this publication.”

He said that celebrating the few that have distinguished themselves among hundreds of other public officials that served under the Buhari era between 2015-2023 “is our little way of encouraging good governance in Nigeria.”
