As a qualified young Civil Engineer, Ibrahim Gidado’s burning desire was to contribute his quota towards the development of the construction industry in Nigeria. He created Prime Elevation, a business name, as a platform for achieving that. But after several years of operations, he decided to take on new and bigger challenges. One of the challenges was to up his game in order to change the narrative of the near-total dominance of Nigeria’s construction industry by foreign firms. That decision led him to formalize his business platform by registering Prime Elevation with the Corporate Affairs Commission as a limited liability company in 2022.
Engr. Gidado’s vision was (and remains) to create a leading company renowned for its commitment to exceptional quality and innovation in its services, thereby creating iconic structures that stand out as testaments to its expertise and innovation.
The company is living up to its vision. Today, Prime Elevation Ltd is one of the big time players in the civil engineering end of Nigeria’s construction industry. Since its incorporation, the company, with Engr. Gidado as its Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, has consistently met the increasing market demands for building construction, maintenance and renovation; building condition assessment; road and bridge construction; project management services, dredging, erosion control and M & E services.
Prime Elevation Ltd, under the leadership of Engr. Gidado is effectively fulfilling its objective of providing a broad-based engineering construction and related services with near 100% local content. It is challenging the foreign dominance of the construction engineering industry by providing better services than those offered by foreign firms, or at worse, their equivalent. Its operations and growth are predicated on professional integrity and in earnestly exploring all available potentials and resources for the advancement of engineering services.

The quality and experience of its board, management and other personnel are second to none. Engr. Gidado is an immensely experienced engineer who has been involved in the design and construction of several notable projects in the last 15 years. Having graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaira, in 2009 with B.Eng (Civil Engineering), he was the Chief Resident Engineer for the new EFCC Training Institute, Karu, Abuja. Engr. Gidado was a Project Engineer for the Dutse International Airport, Jigawa State, and the Police Service Commission head office at Jabi, Abuja. He also designed and built several buildings in and outside Abuja. Notable among them are Future house Aminu Kano crescent,Abuja, Furniture house mall in Kano, Electronics mall in trans Amadi, Funiture mall Ikeja Lagos,the Furniture House at Gwarimpa, Abuja; Electronics Showroom in Aminu Kano Way, Abuja; and a Showroom in Trans – Amadi, Port Harcourt.
Also among the completed and ongoing projects by Prime Elevation Limited under the leadership of Engr. Gidado are the Villa construction in Abuja (ongoing); proposed commercial development, Jimeta, Adamawa state; Luxury 5-star hotel, Abuja (ongoing); residential building in Lebanon (completed); and the remodeling of luxury staff quarters in Abuja (ongoing).
Others are: Commercial development at Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse II (ongoing); Idu factory warehouse (ongoing); remodeling of villa in Asokoro, Abuja (completed); and the proposed Concord Boulevard luxury apartment, Imo state.
Engr. Gidado is a Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), registered Member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Member, Airport Consultant Council, USA, (MACC); and Member, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
Engr. Gidado is backed by the expertise and experience of other members of the company’s Board of Directors, management and technical staff garnered over many years of working with other leading companies in related operational areas.
