Amenan Amandine Kouakou is a respected African technology entrepreneur and digital transformation leader with over 20 years of experience shaping inclusive finance, cooperative development, and innovation ecosystems across Africa. Born on July 9, 1975 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, she is widely admired for her ability to merge technology, finance, and community empowerment into sustainable, people-centered solutions.
Amandine holds a B.Sc in Computer Science with software engineering training from INPHB (Côte d’Ivoire), a Master of Science in Finance (INTEC Paris), and an MBA (IAE Toulouse). Her multi-disciplinary expertise enables her to design systems that respond to the real needs of African communities while meeting international standards of excellence. She is also a dedicated mother of two, known for her integrity, discipline, and mission-driven leadership.
As Founder & President of Akilaah National Cooperative Society Ltd, Amandine leads a dynamic cooperative movement that empowers women, youth, informal workers, and community clusters with access to structured savings, loans, welfare support, and economic opportunities.
To power this vision, she created Akilaah Solutions, a digital ecosystem that brings together cooperative finance, welfare empowerment, identity intelligence, real estate access, youth development, and agriculture under one collaborative umbrella. Through flagship initiatives such as the Akilaah Cooperative platform, the OWA Welfare Card, Vestrax real estate hub, Safe SIM program, the SEED youth development initiative, and Akilaah Farm, she is building an ecosystem where communities can grow, earn, and thrive together.
Her technology company, MAJ Fintech Group, serves as the backbone of this ecosystem; designing secure, scalable, bilingual digital platforms used across finance, welfare, and community development sectors. She is recognized for her ability to turn vision into execution by building teams, systems, and partnerships across Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, and beyond.
In 2025, Amandine was invited to speak at the African Union (AU) Headquarters, where she presented on Artificial Intelligence, data innovation, and Africa’s emerging digital economy during the Africa Celebrates conference. Her presentation received strong commendation from AU leadership, reinforcing her role as a continental voice in digital transformation and cooperative empowerment.
A trusted partner to governments, development agencies, private sector organizations, and cooperative apex bodies, Amandine’s work directly advances Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 5, 8, 9, 10, and 17 as well as key priorities of AU Agenda 2063.
