Muoka, Bolarinwa, Maiwada, Soneye, Alero, Others Named among Top 10 Perception Managers 2024

Nigeria’s foremost monthly publication, The Top10 Magazine, has released the list of top 10 perception managers in corporate Nigeria 2024.

The Top 10 Magazine is a Lagos based monthly publication by Toncam Communications Limited, conceived as a platform to celebrate excellence by individuals and organizations who have distinguished themselves in their chosen endeavours.

The latest edition of the magazine, titled “Top 10 Perception Managers 2024” was put together to celebrate the 10 leading lights among the current crop of perception managers in Nigeria. The publication’s selection criteria were based on the assessment of the practitioners’ effective media engagement, visible positioning of their organization’s brand and above all, their ability to sustain positive public perception of their organizations over time.

Leading the list are Reuben Muoka, Director, Public Affairs, Nigeria Communications Commission; Rasheed Bolarinwa, Head Corporate Communications, Polaris Bank; Abdullah Maiwada, Public Relations Officer, Nigeria Customs Service; Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer, NNPC Ltd; and Tolu Alero Ladipo, Group Head, Marketing & Corporate Communications, United Bank for Africa.

Others are; Meksley Nwagboh, Divisional Head, Brand & Communications, Fidelity Bank; Jide Sipe, Head, Marketing & Corporate Communications, Eco Bank; Femi Babafemi, Director, Media & Advocacy, NDLEA; Chioma Afe, Director, External Affairs and Sustainability, Seplat Energy; and Hakama Sidi Ali, Director, Corporate Communications, Central Bank of Nigeria.

A release signed by the Publisher of The Top10 Magazine, Mr Tony Iji, stated that, “In line with our tradition of celebrating 10 leading lights in every endeavour, this edition of the magazine was put together to celebrate outstanding professionals currently shaping corporate communications, PR and Reputation Management in Nigeria.

He explained: “This is the third edition of the magazine being devoted to this professional group in the magazine’s eight-year history. The first was published in 2016 under the headline “Top 10 Image Makers in Corporate Nigeria; the second in 2022, was titled “Top 10 Exemplary Perception Managers in Corporate Nigeria.” He disclosed that, as “from this year, our special edition on perception managers or image makers will be an annual affair where we will be celebrating outstanding professionals shaping corporate communications, PR and Reputation Management in Nigeria, covering all sectors of the society.”

He stated that those who made the list this year are outstanding professionals with many years experience who have made their mark in the profession across different sectors.
