Austin Kwesi Okere is a serial entrepreneur and thought leader. An entrepreneur-in-Residence at Columbia Business School, New York, Austin has also facilitated at the United States International University in Kenya and consulted for the Sustainable Development Goals, Africa Centre in Rwanda.
Austin was appointed to the Business Practices Council of the AACSB International and Advisory Board of the Global Business School Network in recognition of his contribution to the development of business education and knowledge transfer in Africa.
CWG Plc, the company which he founded has been recognised as a ‘Global Growth Company’ by the World Economic Forum and is the largest security listed in the Technology Sector of the NGX.
Austin now runs the Ausso Leadership Academy, an institution which mentors business leaders and entrepreneurs to scale their business geometrically for Shared Prosperity and serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Business Day Publications.

Austin Okere received special commendation from Columbia Business School, New York, for his mentorship role, especially in innovation and entrepreneurship. He was recognized with a “Lifetime Entrepreneurship Achievement Award” by the American University of Nigeria in 2017 for his dedicated service and outstanding entrepreneurial accomplishments. He was named “ICT Personality of the year” by the Nigerian Computer Society in 2014 in recognition of his invaluable contribution to the growth and promotion of ICT, and ICT Man of the Decade by ICT Watch Africa Digital Network in 2012. Austin was listed on the UK’s C.Hub Magazine’s “100 Most Influential Creatives” in 2016. Austin Okere has been a Director of Globus bank since inception.
