BAT Support Groups Propose Visitation To Tinubu to Establish “Strong Relationship”

Many members of the Presidential Support Groups and the Presidential Campaign Council under the aegis of the BAT Pioneers of 2023 Agenda have written to see President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to resolve many thorny issues that have unsettled the ruling party in recent time.

The letter entitled: Courtesy Visit of BAT Pioneers of 2023 Agenda, and signed by the National Coordinator of the group, Comrade Abdulhakeem Adegoke Alawuje was addressed to the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila. According to the letter, the visit also aims at “establishing a very strong relationship” with the office of the Chief of Staff and his Office, as “we journey together in our hard-earned Renewed Hope Asiwaju presidency”.

BAT coalition of 2023 Agenda is a coalition of groups of early starters in the struggle for the emergence of Tinubu in the build-up to 2023 general election.

Addressing journalists on this development, the Media Adviser to Comrade Alawuje, Elder Yinka Salaam, “the visit will also provide an avenue for BAT Pioneers to deliberate with the government on issues of national importance and address issues of common concerns.

According to him, “the President truly needs these groups because they belong to the grassroots and are well positioned to advice the President on the needs and wants of the masses, just as they are well positioned to assist the government in ensuring government policies, plans and projects are monitored and implemented to the letter. Relying solely on the elite and politicians as well as high falluten policies and technicalities may be counter productive at the end of the day”.

Elder Salaam warned that 2027 is around the corner, and when that time comes, President Tinubu will soon realise he needs members of the Support Groups more than the elite with who he sorrounds himself with.

In the words of one of the leaders of the groups who formed the PCC but prefers to be anonymous, “These are the groups that independently worked day and night, even before the President Bola Tinubu’s declaration of interest,

Comrade Abdulhakeem Adegoke Alawuje, National Coordinator, BAT pioneers of 2023 Agenda

“While some joined the struggle immediately after Tinubu’s declaration, others joined the struggle after Tinubu won the APC ticket at the primary, but we are the Pioneers that started the campaign long before the formation of Presidential Campaign Council, in fact, even before the party itself set up campaign structure for President Tinubu,

“Unfortunately, since the emergence of President Tinubu,, we have made several attempts to visit Mr President after the victory but we have severally been denied.

We as well want Nigerians to know ttgat the lasting solution to the problem of the past fourty years of this nation has been discovered.

Just less than a year patience, endurance, sacrifices and cooperation of all Nigerians irrespective of ethnicity, religious backgrounds and party afiliation, the entire people of this nation will have a permanent and overlasting Joy. It shall be liberation, success and permanent celebrations of all kinds.

Do you know what? Let us just bring together the strength we wasted on tribal, religious and party conflicts with him in the spirit of patriotism devoid of sentiments and very certainly see a nation of our dream.

Tinubu is coming in a total different dimension to change all the compromised systems and make them work perfectly.

Infact, a new dimension that will discourage bandits, make kidnapping unprofitable, make looting unattractive and turn agitators to progressive minds and lovers of good governance.

Fellow Nigerians, bear with him and support him with prayers.

Mr president has lost sleep over what Nigerians are passing through.

May Almighty God assist, protect, preserve and bless him.

Fortunately for us he did not need our sympathy but he need our prayers.

“As BAT Pioneers of 2023 Agenda, we are speaking on behalf of the entire support groups,” he said.
