In an effort to constantly create opportunities to expose her staff and associates to capacity building with the view to scaling their competence levels, the Oxford International Group, a business conglomerate with interest spreading across several sectors of the economy has recently held the inaugural edition of her annual global leadership summit.
The three-day event with the theme “Re-inventing Leadership”, which was held at Ogere Resort between August 2nd to 4th,2021 with main event activities covering lectures, movies, music, games, aerobics, symposium, networking etc. The main speakers at the summit include, Dr. Teniola Adesanya, (Executive Chairman, Oxford International Group, and Mr. Niyi Adesanya, Nigeria’s Leading business re-engineering consultant and a leadership coach, Mr. Tade cash and many other resource professionals.
The summit had over 300 participants made up of Oxfordians (Staff and associates) who converged to listen to Dr. Adesanya and other leaders sharing from their wealth of experience.
According to the chief convener of the summit, Dr. Adesanya “the most striking moment for me was a moment of realization of how far the ‘Oxford Vision has grown’. When the Vision is clear, People will arise to rally around it and it becomes unstoppable”. He said that he was amazed to see how far they have come in under 5years of existence. “But how much inspiring is seeing the people, individual, who caught the vision early on, believed in me and the vision, and running with it”. He used the occasion to express gratitude to God and every staff of Oxford International Group, from the top to the least, the company’s partners and investors who have contributed to the Success journey that brought them to where they are now. The event provided opportunity for learning, team bonding and relaxation for every participant.
One other interesting segment of the summit is the Women Symposium hosted by the company’s group Managing Director, Mrs. Precious Ogun – Michael, which was designed to help women learn self-discovery as a woman, unveiling the woman in themselves, developing the leadership and skills as a woman, etc.
